Australia Study Trip: Learning Beyond Borders

Earlier in the year, a group of students embarked on an unforgettable study trip to Australia, organized by the English Department. The journey combined classroom learning with real-world exploration, allowing students to immerse themselves in English-speaking environments and engage with diverse cultures.

From interactive workshops to local school visits, students practiced their communication skills and broadened their understanding of global perspectives. The experience helped them grow not just as learners, but as young ambassadors of curiosity and respect.

“I learned how to express myself better and appreciate different ways of life,” shared by Hayley, one of the participating students. 

The trip left a lasting impact, inspiring students to think beyond borders and embrace the world with open minds.

MONGOLIA: A Journey to Remember

Our Interact Club members, Meki Ng and Ada Law, had the honor of representing our school on the remarkable trip, “Spirit of Rotary: Exploring the World of the Shepherd Boy,” in Mongolia. Funded by the Rotary Club of Wan Chai, this experience was more than just a journey; it served as a profound exchange of cultures and a valuable lesson in global citizenship.

In late August, Meki and Ada traveled to Mongolia, where they created unforgettable memories. One highlight was a campfire night, where they sang under a vast, star-filled sky—an experience truly unlike anything found in Hong Kong. Ada particularly cherished riding through the Mongolian grasslands, feeling the wind carry the scent of wild grass and a sense of freedom that was deeply moving.

The trip also included meaningful service work in a community in Ulaanbaatar, the capital's poorer district. The duo participated in workshops to prepare games that shared Hong Kong culture with local children, bringing them joy and new experiences. They also visited various ongoing projects organized by the Rotary District 3450, such as a newborn-baby support program and a public toilet improvement initiative, which opened their eyes to the everyday comforts we often take for granted.

Meki and Ada made lasting friendships with peers from both Hong Kong and Mongolia and continue to stay in touch, cherishing the connections formed during this adventure. From the breathtaking landscapes to the hospitality of the nomadic families, the trip highlighted the essence of the Rotary spirit: "Service Above Self."

勇敢追夢，誰說不可能﹗
參與全港學界航空比賽
獲中學組第12名

隨著交通運輸的發達和網絡媒體的發展，旅遊成為全球炙手可熱的消閑體驗，航空業的發展前景亦因而廣闊明朗。

本校航空學會於去年就曾參與並參與「Sky Dream 2025全港學界航空比賽」，在賽前參與飛行理論知識訓練和飛行模擬器操作的訓練課程，雖然最終未能晉級，但仍獲中學組第12名的成績，更重要是在過程中啟發了學生對航空業的興趣，豐富他們探索自身生涯規劃的歷練，並推動他們自學與航空相關的跨學科知識。

視覺藝術比賽報捷：多名學生於荃灣各界慶祝香港回歸祖國28周年暨《香港國安法》公布實施5周年填色及繪畫比賽獲獎

比賽由荃灣各界慶祝回歸委員會、荃灣民政事務處及荃灣區議會合辦，旨在慶祝香港回歸祖國28周年暨《香港國安法》頒布五周年，同時亦加入了東江水供港及全運會的元素，讓學生有更多發揮空間，運用創意繪出對香港未來美好的憧憬。

是次比賽競爭十分激烈，大會收到超過800份作品。我校的初高中同學在眾多作品中脫穎而出，獲得了獎項的肯定。頒獎禮已於2025年7月26日（六）完滿結束，我校學生得獎名單如下：

國慶日的意義

十月一日是中華人民共和國成立紀念日。1949 年 10 月 1 日，中華人民共和國在北京天安門廣場舉行開國大典，中央人民政府正式成立。這標誌着國家從遭受列強侵略、分裂動盪的日子中走出，實現民族獨立和自主的目標，是我國歷史上具劃時代意義的一頁。

在國家建國 70 多年的發展歷程中，人民不畏艱辛、努力奮鬥，國家在多方面取得驕人的成就。經濟急速發展，成為世界第二大經濟體系；在航天科技、5G 技術等領域取得世界領先地位；人民生活顯著改善，教育水平不斷提高。

我國在國際舞台上角色日益重要，身為中國人，我們都為此感到鼓舞和自豪。我國在歷史、藝術、古蹟、文學等方面的豐富內涵吸引了國際的注視，向世界展示多元、包容與開放的文化。香港故宮文化博物館的開幕、戲曲中心的建設，都為香港市民和遊客提供更多了解國家文物藝術和文化的機會。這些不僅是國家的珍貴資產，也是我們傳承和弘揚中華優秀傳統文化的重要基礎。

讓我們善用這些資源，深入了解中國的歷史、藝術和文化，從中汲取養分，豐富自己的文化素養，同時加深對國情的了解，為香港和國家的發展盡一分力。

國慶來臨，各式各樣的慶祝活動有助同學認識國家的歷史和發展，回顧國家克服重重困難，迎來今天的繁榮穩定日子。鼓勵大家參與其中，親身體驗國慶的意義。

各位同學不要輕視自己的力量，作為香港的未來主人翁，大家可以先做好自己的本份，努力學習，關心社會，培養良好素質，將來為祖國、為香港的繁榮昌盛作出貢獻。
